2 arrested with phensedyl in Ishwardi

Railway Police have arrested two youths with 92 bottles of phensedyl, an illegal drug from Ishwardi Railway Junction in Pabna on Tuesday evening.  They were arrested from the station's number three platform by Ishwardi Railway Junction Station police.

The arrestees are Md. Shakil, 25, son of Rezaul Islam of Kushadanga village of Maheshpur and Md. Shobuj, 26, son of Ohidul Mollah of Duriapur Purbapara village of Jhenaidah. Upon receiving secret information of Phensedyl being trafficked a police team led by OC Gopal Kumar were stationed at the station. They recoverd those phensedyl searching the bags of the arestees. 

Officer in Charge (OC) of Ishwardi Railway Junction Police Station Gopal Kumar said Shakil and Shabuj are identified drug dealers. They have been involved in selling Phensedyl in different areas of the country for a long time. A case under Narcotics Control Act was filed with Ishwardi Railway Junction Police Station against them. The two were sent to jail by Pabna court on Wednesday.
