The Russian House in Dhaka organised a photo exhibition and a virtual meeting to mark the 193rd birth anniversary of Russian writer Lev Tolstoy.
Members of partner organisations, students of Russian language courses and lovers of Russian literature joined the meeting. Maxim Dobrokhotov, Director of the Russian House in Dhaka, spoke about the life and works of Lev Tolstoy, says a press release.
The virtual meeting was also attended by Russian language teacher Yasmeen Sultana, his husband Taibul Hasan Khan, former professor of history and Chairman of Liberation War Academy Trust Dr Abul Kalam Azad.
The week-long photo exhibition on the life of Lev Tolstoy started at the Russian House Exhibition Hall in Dhaka, where students and other visitors were present.
