Twelve short films on the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman have been proposed to be made along with a full-length Bengali and a full-length film in English. The plan was made in the meeting of the sub-committees of the celebration of birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Monday.
Film sub-committee convener and noted cultural personality Syed Hasan Imam presided over the meeting while other members of the media including Faridur Reza Sagar, filmmaker Alamgir, Faruq, Piyush Bandyopadhyay, Riaz, Ferdous and others participated in the meeting.
After the meeting, Syed Hasan Imam said, “We have sent our plans and the budget to the Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman National Committee. If they approve this plan then these plans can be realized.”
