1,200 people sent to home quarantine in Laxmipur

Laxmipur district administration has enforced a ban on movement of all sorts of motor-vehicles except vehicles carrying essential goods and closed all markets and shops except the greengrocers and drug stores in the district. It is learnt, Anjan Chandra Paul, Deputy Commissioner of Laxmipur, through a memorandum directed to close all shops, markets and shops of the district, upazilas and unions. 

However, the shops of fertiliser and insecticides will be kept open from 9-00 am to 1-00 pm. On the other hand, so far 1,211 people of the district have so far been sent to home quarantine in the district of whom 614 were released, informed Dr. Abdul Gaffar, Covil Surgeon of Laskmipur.
